Photography

I am a simple man who loves making photographs and spending time with family, friends and new people. I am fortunate to be able to spend a good amount of time on personal projects, travelling and collaborating with individuals and a team of interesting people. I make my bed between Bogota, London and Munich and am a sucker for assignments where I have the opportunity to travel.

Below are a number of my own favourite photographs

Back by my new home in the capital. Beautiful city scene here.. @BDBacatá (Bogotá Downtown #Bacatá) is a skyscraper currently under construction in #Bogotá, #Colombia, the #tallest one in the country, surpassing the #TorreColpatria (#ColpatriaTower) and the second tallest in #SouthAmerica. When completed it will be 67 stories high composed of 1.2 million square feet. Development includes office and retail space, apartments and a 364 room hotel. It will be the tallest #skyscraper in Colombia, and the first #crowdfunded skyscraper, meaning that it was funded by natural persons through buying of shares and fiduciary rights allowed by colombian law. The name of the tower; Bacatá is taken from the former name of the city; the headquarters of the #preColumbian capital of the southern #Muisca; Bacatá, which means "(Enclosure) outside of the farm fields".

#Beautiful view our this awesome city. #Monserrate (after #Catalan homony mountain #Montserrat) is a #mountain that #dominates the city center of #Bogotá, the capital city of #Colombia. It #rises to 3,152 metres (10,341 ft) above the sea level, where there is a #church (built in the 17th century) with a #shrine, d#evoted to "#ElSeñorCaído" (Fallen Lord). The #hill is a #pilgrim destination, as well as a #tourist attraction. In addition to the church, the #summit contains restaurants, cafeteria, souvenir shops and many smaller tourist facilities. Monserrate can be accessed by #aerialtramway, a #funicular or by #climbing, the preferred way of #pilgrims. All downtown Bogotá, south Bogotá and some sections of the north of the city are visible facing west, making it a #popular destination for watching the sun set over the #city.

I took this picture whilst travelling the awesome #Shinkansen #train on Japan's high-speed #railway. Mount Fuji located on #HonshuIsland, is the #highest #mountain in #Japan at 3,776.24 m (12,389 ft). An #active #stratovolcano that last #erupted in 1707–08, #Mount #Fuji lies about 100 kilometres (60 mi) south-west of #Tokyo, and can be seen from there on a clear day. #MountFuji's exceptionally symmetrical cone, which is snow-capped several months a year, is a well-known #symbol of Japan and it is frequently depicted in art and photographs, as well as visited by sightseers and #climbers. It is one of Japan's "#ThreeHolyMountains" (三霊山 #Sanreizan) along with #MountTate and #MountHaku; it is a Special Place of Scenic Beauty, a #HistoricSite, and was added to the #WorldHeritageList as a Cultural Site on June 22nd, 2013.
